Localboxoffice has been designed so you can do as little or as much as you like. Sell unallocated tickets to a 20 seat gig in your village or manage the ticket sales and advertising for a national festival of events. BUYERS
Yes, we know it's obvious, but localboxoffice is the place to search for events happening in and around your local area. We have a sophisticated search system in place which utilizes the UK postal code system so you can find what is happening literally on your street! You can also search by types of events, whether it be music or sport, and within those categories whether it be Beethoven or rock, football or paragliding. Buyers can also sign up to receive a free newsletter about the events in their area. Localboxoffice is passionate about getting people to local events and this is one of the ways we hope to achieve that.
SELLERS
Are you organizing a gig at your local pub? A literary festival across your county? A private fundraiser ball for charity? Well, all these and more can be sold and advertised through localboxoffice. The way it works is simple:
Ø Register an account
Ø Provide details of your event, set the event date, times, ticket prices and venue details
Ø Put a link to us on your website, or print our address on your publicty http://yournamehere.localboxoffice.com
Ø Leave the sales process to us, from data capture of the customer's contact details to the credit card processing.
Ø When a customer purchases a ticket, we generate an eticket which is a reference sent to them in an email. This is their ticket.
Ø You can view the sales figures at any time in your account page or set up a regular email update.
Ø At the time of the event, simply print off the ticket summary and reconcile the names and eticket references to those of your customers’.
VENUES
If you're a venue, you are no doubt always thinking about how to promote the events that you are hosting. Localboxoffice can help promote events that you hosting. Create a venue account and you can list all the shows you currently have on, even if you are not selling the tickets through localboxoffice. For those events that are being sold through our site, you can link up to the event's listing and vice versa.
